Description

The bell turret, located to the west of Trawden Hall, dates from 1747 as indicated by the datestone in the pedestal. It is constructed of stone and designed in the shape of a circular temple. The turret features six Ionic columns that rest on a stone base, which is topped with a canopy that has a plain frieze, a dome, and a ball finial. The structure is elevated on a three-sided stone pedestal that includes a moulded cornice.
