Description

Coal Pit Farmhouse and the attached barn date from the late 18th century. The building is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features a slate roof with stone gutter corbels. It stands two storeys high and has two four-light windows with square mullions. On the first floor, there is a similar four-light window and a three-light window. To the left, there is a plain doorway with a glazed porch. The barn, which is attached to the farmhouse, projects forward under the same roof.
