Description

Standroyd is a late 17th-century farmhouse located on the south side of Skipton Old Road in Colne. The building is constructed of stone with a stone slate roof, and has moulded stone capping to the roof and a stone gutter. It has an 'L' shaped plan. The farmhouse is two storeys high. On the front are an 8-light chamfered stone mullion window with moulded and returned dripstone, and above, a 5-light stone mullion window with semicircular heads. There is also a 5-light window with square heads and moulded, returned dripstone. A chamfered doorway is located on the left side, topped with a 3-centred arched head and a heavy, moulded dripstone.
