Description

This is an early 17th-century farmhouse, later divided into two cottages. It is constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof and has an L-shaped plan. Most of the windows have been altered. A 17th-century doorway with a four-centred arched head remains in the gable front of number 5. A small, single-light 17th-century window is visible in the northern return front. Number 6 features a three-light chamfered stone mullion window on the first floor of its gable front facing south. A stepped, projecting chimney breast is located on the western elevation, featuring two diagonal shafts. Historic records indicate the presence of some original interior features from the 17th century.
