7/123 Dunald Mill Cottage II

House, formerly house and barn. 'J L 1822' on keystone of former barn doorway. Squared, coursed, watershot sandstone with furrowed quoins and plinth of large furrowed ashlar blocks. Stone slate roof. Single-unit double-pile plan with barn of same build under continuous roof to right. 2 storeys. Original house 2 bays, having sashed windows with glazing bars in plain stone surrounds. Front door, also with plain stone surround, is to the right of the window. The 1st floor window to the right of the door is a modern insertion into the former barn. Wide barn door with segmental head now partly blocked and containing modern window. Right-hand gable has 2 former shippon doors, the rear one being blocked to form a window. Chimney on left-hand gable and between house and former barn. Modern chimney inserted into barn.
