Description
Gorsey Farm Cottage is a house built in 1766, as indicated by the refaced datestone above the door, although it has 20th-century additions on either side. The structure is made of hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a slate roof. It has a three-bay, two-storey double-depth plan with a central entrance. The entrance is framed by a moulded surround. The windows include recessed chamfered cavetto-moulded stone mullions, with six lights in the first bay (three mullions removed on the ground floor), two lights above the door, and four lights in the third bay. A brick gable chimney stack is present. To the left, there is a two-bay, two-storey addition that is set back, and to the right, there is a flat-roofed garage.
