Description

Sandbed House is a house built around 1770, constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and topped with a graduated stone slate roof. It features a single-depth plan with two bays and three storeys, along with a lean-to garage extension on the right gable. The building has quoins and a central door with a square-cut surround. Each floor is adorned with four and five-light recessed chamfered stone mullion windows. There are two ridge chimney stacks, while the rear of the house is plain except for windows that were added in the 20th century.
