Description
Palinwood House is a late 18th-century house located on Delph Lane in Saddleworth. It is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has a double-depth, three-storey design with later additions on each gable. Each floor is fitted with a 9-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion window, although the ground floor window has been slightly altered and includes a blocked light. The house has quoins and gable chimney stacks, with a lean-to structure on the left and a small wing to the right, which dates from the 19th century. Access to the first-floor door is via a flight of stone steps. At the rear, there are two 3-light recessed flat-faced mullion windows on each floor.
