Description

Causeway Sett Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse located on the north-west side of Huddersfield Road in Delph. It is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a slate roof. The building has three bays and three storeys, with a significantly altered wing at the rear. Notable architectural details include quoins and a projecting plinth. The central entrance has a moulded surround and hood, with a 20th-century door. There are two 4-light windows on the ground and first floors, and a 10-light workshop window on the second floor, all featuring recessed flat-faced stone mullions, with the workshop window having a king mullion. The farmhouse is topped with gable chimney stacks, and there is a 20th-century addition to the left side.
