Description
The Church of St Augustine is a mid-19th century mission church that is now no longer in use. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has a small nave, a porch, and an apse, all designed in the Gothic revival style. The church consists of four bays, with two-light chamfered mullion windows on the west side, a porch, and two three-light windows on the east. The south side has two paired lancet windows with a rose window above them. Each side of the church has a gable at the north end, which leads to the apse that includes small cusped lancets.
