Description
Moorfield House is a house built in the late 18th century, featuring a 20th-century porch and extension. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and has a graduated stone slate roof with brick stacks. The house has a double-depth central-staircase plan, consisting of three storeys and a two-storey extension on the left side. The left side also has stone quoins. The central door surround is square-cut but is obscured by the porch. There are two five-light flat-faced stone mullion windows on each floor, with the ground and first-floor windows recessed, while the second-floor windows are flush. The left extension is designed in a similar style and has a gable facing the road.
