Description
The right-hand cottage of Car Cottages is a house from the late 18th century, constructed from hammer-dressed stone and topped with a slate roof. It features three bays and has a double-depth layout with two and three storeys. On the left side, there is a square-cut stone door surround. The ground floor includes five, five, and two-light recessed flat-faced mullion windows. The first floor has two, four, four, and three-light flat-faced stone mullion windows, along with a blocked four-light window in the third bay. The third bay is recessed and contains a 20th-century porch within the angle. The building is capped with three ridge chimney stacks.
