Description
Wilmers is a building dating from around 1830, originally consisting of four cottages and possibly a cellar dwelling or workshop, now converted into one house. It is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. Each cottage is one bay wide, with two storeys and two rooms deep. They each have a door with a square-cut surround, although one door is now blocked and has been turned into a window. There is a 20th-century porch added to the building. The ground floor has three-light flat-faced stone mullion windows, while the first floor has five-light windows. A lean-to addition is present against the left gable. The rear of each cottage features a four-light and a three-light window, with one window having been extended to five lights and three mullions removed. The building has ridge chimney stacks and a similar door and window opening to the cellar at the right gable end.
