Description

Ashworth Fold Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed of coursed rubble with stone dressings, featuring a stone slate roof and brick chimney stacks. The building is designed with two rooms deep and two rooms wide, including a central doorway, gable chimney stacks, and a single-storey lean-to at the rear. The front elevation is 3 bays wide and 2 stories high, showcasing square-cut lintels, sills, jambs, and flat-faced mullioned windows that were originally designed with two and three lights, although some have been blocked and some mullions have been removed. The roof has a shallow pitch and is topped with stone ridge tiles.
