6/125 Wolstenholme Fold - Farmhouse and barn

Farmhouse and adjoining barn (now part of house). Farmhouse late C17, barn "1721 MH" on keystone. Dressed stone with slate roofs. 2-storey 2-unit plan with barn adjoining at rear left hand corner at right angles to the farmhouse; single-storey wing added to right and lean-to to left gable. All the mullioned windows are of 3 lights, the ground floor ones being single chamfered. The door is to the left and has square-cut monolithic jambs and lintel. The rear elevation has two 3-light mullioned windows as well as a 2- light one with semi-circular heads and hoodmould. The barn has a large semi-circular square-cut opening with keystone; C20 windows have been added to either side.
