Description

This is a late 18th century farmhouse with an attached barn, situated just off Shaw Lane near Oxenhope. The house is constructed of coursed stone with a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high, with two first-floor windows and a single-storey addition to the right. The front features a central wooden door set within a plain stone surround. The ground floor has flat-faced mullion windows with raised cills; there's a three-light window to the left and a four-light window to the right. The first floor has a four-light window to the left and a six-light window to the right. A cill band runs along the first floor. The farmhouse has a shaped kneeler, ashlar coping, and an end stack to the right. A more recent addition features a 20th-century glazed door within a porch. The barn, dating to the mid-19th century, is attached to the left and consists of three bays. It has a central segment-headed cart entry with voussoirs, and a wooden door with a window to its left. Above the cart door is a 20th-century window flanked by two lunette windows and two slit vents.
