Description
The Bay Horse Public House is a public house located on Hebden Bridge Road in Oxenhope, dating from the early to mid-19th century, with later additions. It is constructed of coursed stone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and two bays, with a taller three-storey, one-bay addition on the left side. All openings have flush stone surrounds, and the windows are fitted with flat-faced mullions and chamfered cills. The central entrance door is flanked by a two-light window on the left and a three-light window on the right on both floors. The left-hand addition includes one two-light window with an over-sailing lintel on each floor. The right side of the building features a shaped kneeler and ashlar coping.
