Description

This is an 18th-century barn, now converted into a dwelling, located immediately north of No. 11. The barn is constructed of coursed stone with a stone slate roof. It is two stories high and has three bays. Quoins are visible. A central round-arched cart entry is present, with a blocked doorway to the right. Two Venetian windows with keystones to the central lights flank the cart entrance. Above, three round-arched windows are set within the upper wall, each with keystones and impost blocks. Shaped kneelers and coping top the walls. The rear elevation features an opposing round-arched cart entry with voussoirs and skewbacks. In the 20th century, windows were inserted into the rear gable, set within plain stone surrounds. Work was ongoing at the time of the resurvey.
