Description
The sundial located in the graveyard of Bamford Chapel dates from the early 19th century. It features a stone shaft with a metal dial and gnomon. The shaft is plain with chamfered corners that taper towards the top, creating a square base for the dial. The dial is inscribed with the names "Wilson (?) and Thelwell Manchester."
