Description

SD 90 SW FAILSWORTH DAISY NOOK 7/35 Barn to south- west of Daisy 24/3/66 Nook Farmhouse G.V. II Barn. Early C18. English garden wall bond brick with stone dressings and graduated stone slate roof. Opposed cart entries with former shippon to left. 3 bays, bay 1 projecting as an outshut. Stone plinth and quoins. Cart entries have timber lintel to front and elliptical brick arch to rear. 3 tiers of decorative vents. 3 shippon doors to left return with segmental-arched heads (all now blocked). Owl hole in gable. 2 king post roof trusses with inclined struts.
