Description

The front garden wall and gate at Taunton Hall, dating from the early 17th century, consists of garden wall and gate posts. The posts are made of dressed stone and are accompanied by a roughly coursed stone wall. There are two square piers with moulded bases and caps, each topped with sculptured acorns, which are likely linked to the Okeden family lineage. The walls feature round-topped coping stones.
