Description
Werneth Old Hall Barn is a barn that likely dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a graduated stone slate roof. The barn features central opposed cart entries, with a shippon and hayloft located to the right, which is accommodated by an outshot at the rear. The building has rough stone quoins and a projecting plinth. The cart entries are topped with timber lintels, while the bay to the right is obscured by later stables. The rear of the barn has rows of vents on two levels and two shippon doors. Additionally, there is a door and three small windows on the right gable, along with a loft hatch and vents on the left.
