Description
The Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of rendered brick and features a graduated stone slate and slate roof, along with brick chimney stacks. The building has three bays and two storeys, with the right bay being double-depth while the others are single-depth.
The entrance is through a battened door set in a heavy timber frame located in the second bay, accompanied by a three-light window to the right and two two-light windows to the left. On the first floor, there are two three-light windows and one one-light window. All windows are fitted with stone sills, timber mullions, and casement windows that include glazing bars. Each gable is attached to another house and features a chimney stack. The rear of the building has similar window arrangements.
