Description
Netherton House is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick with coursed rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and two bays. The windows are fitted with gauged brick flat arches and are sashed, some retaining glazing bars. The central entrance is framed with an architrave, fluted Doric pilasters, an Ionic entablature, and a pediment, while the four-panel door has bolection mouldings. There are two gable-end stacks, which have likely been rebuilt. At the rear, there are two low wings, and the rear wall is partly made of coursed rubble. Additionally, there is a round-headed stair window and two lateral stacks.
