Description

Brook Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1691, as indicated by the inscribed date stone. It is constructed of brick with some stone dressings and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. There is an ovolo moulded brick band above the ground floor, which includes windows with gauged brick flat arches and casements. The entrance, located between the second and third bays, has a segmental head and a date stone above it. The farmhouse has a cross-axial stack and a stack on the right gable end. At the rear, there is a gabled porch that is now plastered.
