Description
6 Barlow Fold is a house, which was formerly two houses, built in the mid-18th century. It is constructed from coursed squared rubble and features a slate roof with brick stacks. The building has two bays, is two storeys high, and has one room in depth. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door set within a heavy timber frame. To the left of the entrance, there is a door that has been blocked. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light windows and one 3-light window, while the first floor has two 3-light windows. All windows have timber mullions, stone sills, and glazing bars. The second bay shows evidence that the eaves have been raised. The rear of the building is rendered and partly hidden by an adjoining property. There are two brick stacks on the roof.
