Description
Moss Bank is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed of brick with a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and features three bays. The windows have gauged brick flat arches, with the first bay having segmental arches, and originally had paired sashes, although only the frames remain. The central entrance has a flat arch and a single-sashed window above it. There are gable-end stacks, one of which is truncated. At the rear, there is an outshut under a lean-to roof. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is reported to contain features of interest, including a cut string staircase, a fielded panel door, and a stone fireplace.
