This is a house known as the cottage adjoining north of Holly Grove Cottage, built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has a layout of 1 x 2 bays and stands three storeys high, with a 20th-century lean-to porch attached to the right gable.
The ground floor has a five-light window, while the first and second floors each have eight-light windows. All windows have recessed flat-faced stone mullions and king mullions. Additionally, there are four two-light windows in the gables. The cottage also features shaped eaves gutter brackets, coped gables, and a gable chimney stack.
