Description

Hollin Grove is a house located in Dobcross, built in the mid-18th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has a two-bay double-depth plan and stands two storeys high. To the right, there is a square-cut door surround that is of a later date. The ground floor has two and three-light windows, while the first floor has two and four-light windows, all with double-chamfered cavetto-moulded mullions. The house also has a ridge chimney stack and a 20th-century roof light. At the rear, there are additional two and three-light double-chamfered mullion windows, as well as three and two-light flat-faced mullion windows.
