Description
Manor House, located in Dobcross, dates from around 1800. It is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. Originally designed in a T-shaped, two-storey layout, the angles at the rear were filled in during the 19th century. The house has a projecting plinth, a first-floor band, raised quoins, and an eaves cornice. It consists of three bays, with a central door that has a raised dressed stone surround, a five-light overlight, and a keystone lintel. The first and third bays contain paired sash windows with square-cut surrounds on both floors, while the central first floor has a single sash window. The house features gable chimney stacks and arched attic lights in the gables. The second bay at the rear is pedimented and includes a Venetian window on the first floor.
