Description
Nos. 16 and 18 The Square in Dobcross are three cottages built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and feature a graduated stone slate roof. Each cottage has two bays and three storeys, with each one occupying a single floor. The central door has a dressed surround and is flanked by two and three-light flat-faced mullion windows. On the upper floors, there are two similar three-light windows for each cottage. The entrances to Nos. 16 and 18 are located at their respective levels in the left gable-end, with No. 16 accessed by a flight of steps. The right gable has two-light windows.
