Description
Nos. 32 and 34 Meanwood Brow are two cottages built around 1815. They are constructed from watershot stone and feature a stone slate roof. Each cottage is one room wide and two rooms deep, with three storeys. The top storey is accessed by an external stair at the rear, while the bottom storey has rear entrances and likely served as separate dwellings, as suggested by the door numbers. The cottages have stone quoins and sash windows with square-cut stone surrounds on the ground and first floors. The central entrance has monolithic square-cut jambs. No. 34 features a 5-light "weaver's window" on the third storey, which has been altered to a 3-light window, while No. 32 has a 4-light window. Both cottages have 3-light mullion windows at the rear, some of which are blocked up.
