Description

No. 36 Meanwood Brow is a cottage built around 1810. It is constructed from watershot stone and features a stone slate roof. The building has a double depth and is single room wide, with a door located to the right and another at the center of the gable. There is a lean-to extension at the rear. The doors and windows have square cut flush monolithic jambs and lintels. The ground floor window was originally a sash window, while the first floor features a 3-light mullioned "weaver's window," which was formerly a 7-light window. The cottage also has stone quoins and mullioned windows at the rear.
