Description

Ivy Cottage is a house dating from 1756, as indicated by the inscription "ILA 1756" on the door lintel. It is constructed of watershot hammer-dressed stone and features a slate roof. The building has a central entrance plan with three bays and two stories, along with stone quoins. The entrance is marked by a square-cut door surround, which is flanked by two 2-light flat-faced stone mullion windows from the 19th century. On the first floor, there are two 5-light and one central 2-light chamfered stone mullion windows. The cottage also has gable stacks.
