Description

This is a late 18th-century house, built incorporating earlier fabric, located in Dobcross, Saddleworth. It is a three-storey, one-bay building. A 20th-century porch now obscures the original front door. The front elevation has a five-light window on the ground floor and six-light windows on the first and second floors, all featuring recessed flat-faced mullions and king mullions. The roof is punctuated by ridge chimney stacks. Quoins appear on the rear ground and first floors only. The left gable has a dressed door surround, a 20th-century window, and three two-light windows with recessed cavetto-moulded mullions. The rear of the house has 20th-century window openings, as well as a three-light recessed flat-faced mullion window on the top floor.
