Row of 3 garret-workshop houses, now shops. Late C18 or early C19; altered. Brick, painted white above ground floor; slate roof. Double-depth plan with rear wing to right-hand end. Three storeys and 4-windows (1+1+2); ground floor altered; blocked segmental-headed windows at 1st floor; 3 multiple-light garret windows at 2nd floor, the first mostly boarded but probably 5 or 6 lights, the second 4 lights and the third 7 lights, all with small panes and probably horizontal sliding sash openings (slightly damaged). Right-hand gable wall has loading door between 1st and 2nd floor levels, with hoist beam above; wing continued to rear has another garret window at 2nd floor. Rear has blocked windows at 1st floor, smaller garret windows at 2nd floor (boarded). Interior not inspected. Included as rare survival of industrial dwellings close to city centre.
