Description

A row of houses, likely originally including workshops, dating to the late 18th century and now used for commercial purposes. The building has undergone alterations and renewals in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick with a stone-flagged roof. The front is two storeys high, while the rear is three storeys tall, presenting an irregular six-window facade. The ground floor has been extensively remodelled with new shop fronts and two doorways featuring radial fanlights within moulded stone round-arched architraves, likely not in their original positions. The upper floor has irregularly placed sash windows with 12 and 16 panes, stone sills, and flat arches. The rear range, also under the same roof, is somewhat longer and includes four Gothick arched windows with interlace tracery on the first floor and four three-light casement windows in the attic storey. Two axial stacks are present.
