Description
No. 105 Oldham Street is a small town house that has been converted into a shop. It likely dates from the late 18th century and has undergone alterations. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a slate roof. It has a narrow rectangular plan that runs at right angles to the street and consists of three low storeys with two windows. The ground floor has been altered, while the first floor has two segmental-headed windows with modified glazing. The second floor features two smaller segmental-headed 9-pane sash windows, both with raised sills and exposed boxes, although the window on the right is damaged. All the windows are offset to the right. The building is topped with a wooden cornice that has modillions. The interior has not been inspected. This property is noted as a rare example of a domestic building located near the city centre.
