Description

This is a pair of cottages located at 5 and 6 The Square, built in 1858. They are situated on the southwest side of Kinnerton Road and are mirrored by Nos. 1 and 2 on the opposite side of the Square. The cottages are constructed of brown brick and feature gabled roofs covered with grey slate. No. 5 has two gabled half dormers facing the Square and lattice casements made of cast iron. The windows of No. 6 have been altered, and the wing that faces Kinnerton Lane, which includes a doorway, has been rebuilt. The interiors have not been inspected. No. 6 is included for its group value as part of the formal layout.
