Description
Bridge Cottages are two cottages that form part of a row with nos. 1 and 3 to the left. They were built around 1840 and are constructed of brick with a roughcast finish, featuring a gabled end slate roof. Both cottages are single-depth; No. 4 has two rooms and a central entrance hall, while No. 5 has one room to the right of the entrance hall. Each cottage has axial stacks with brick shafts and stands two storeys tall.
The front of No. 4 is double fronted and has 16-pane hornless sash windows on both floors. Its doorway features scratch moulding and a canopy supported by shaped brackets. No. 5 has a two-window range, with the window above its doorway blocked. It also has sash windows, and its doorway and porch are similar to those of No. 4.
