Description

Dodleston Lane Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1890 by Douglas and Fordham for the 1st Duke of Westminster. It features stone-dressed red brick with blue diapering, and the upper panel and gable at the front are half-timbered, topped with red tile roofs. The building has two storeys plus attics and includes an open oak-framed porch with a red tile pentice roof. The windows are iron casements, with leaded glazing on the front, set in openings that have bevelled sandstone surrounds and mullions. The front door is made of oak and includes panels of leaded glazing. The interior has not been inspected.
