Description

The dovecote at Dodleston Hall, likely built around 1793, is a circular brick tower topped with a conical slate roof that has two stages, along with a louvred ventilator. An external flight of stone steps provides access to a boarded door. There is a circular flight-hole located at the back of the Hall. Inside, the dovecote features tiers of brick nesting boxes.
