Description
Bradford Mill House is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill, which was originally wattle and daub, and has a tiled roof that was once thatched. The building is two storeys high.
On the entrance front, there is a deep plinth and the structure is arranged in 11 by 3 cells of small framing with whitewashed brick infill. A 19th-century porch door is located to the right of the centre, flanked by 20th-century three-light windows on both sides at ground level. The first floor has a central two-light window with three-light windows on either side. To the right, there is a 20th-century lean-to, while to the left, a 19th-century outshut features a three-light ground floor window and a two-light casement window on the first floor. The house has lateral gable stacks.
At the rear, the deep plinth continues with the same 11 by 3 cells of small framing. There is a blocked doorway to the right of centre, with three-light windows on both sides at ground level. To the left on the first floor, there is a blocked five-light window with chamfered timber mullions, while the right side has a three-light window and the left side has a two-light window. A 20th-century lean-to outshut is located to the left, and a 19th-century addition on the right includes a two-light cambered-headed window at ground level and a two-light flat lintelled window on the first floor.
