Description

WRENBURY CUM FRITH C.P. NANTWICH ROAD SJ 64 NW 3/85 Starkey Farmhouse. 12.1.67 II Farmhouse. C17. Timber framed with rendered infill. Shingle roof, formerly thatched. Two storeys. Entrance front: 13 x 3 cells of uneven small framing with C20 how windows inserted to both floors. Entrance at far left and at fourth bay from left and another to the sixth bay from right. Angle braces to the far left and to the centre. The right hand gable end has 6 x 3 cells of uneven small framing with a slightly jettied gable above also with small framing. The gable bressumer is chamfered with decorative end stops. The rear of the house has a projecting C20 porch to the right and a timber framed later C17 wing to the centre which has been extended again in the C20 and to the left of this are 6 x 3 cells of small framing with a 2-light C20 ground floor window and similar first floor window but with what may be a C17 single-light window at right of the ground floor.
