Description
This is a 17th-century timber-framed cottage with brick infill, located within the churchyard of St Margaret’s Church. The roof is covered in asbestos tiles. It is a single-story building. The eastern front, facing the road, features a nine-by-two cell arrangement of small timber framing. A door is positioned in the fifth cell from the right, a two-light window is at the extreme right, and a two-light casement window is in the third cell from the left. A gable chimney stack is situated at the left-hand end. The rear of the cottage also displays a nine-by-two cell arrangement of small timber framing, and has two 3-light casement windows dating to the 19th century.
