Description
This building is a school dated 1879, constructed of red English garden wall bond brick and featuring an L-shaped plan. It is a single-storey structure. The front facing the road has a projecting wing on the left side, which includes a triple window with arched lights, alternating red and blue voussoirs, and decorative bands on either side. The gable has timber work. In the re-entrant angle to the right is a square turret that transitions to a circular body with a louvred bellcote topped with a conical cap made of shingles and lead, complete with a weather vane at the apex. Further to the right, there is a three-light window with an ashlar surround, next to a projecting chimney breast that features ashlar offsets, a circular date stone, and blue brick diapering. To the right of this is another three-light mullioned window with an ashlar surround. Finally, at the far right, there are two large triple windows with arched heads, each having gables above adorned with decorative timber work.
