Description

Wrenbury Mill Bridge is a road bridge dating from the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of red sandstone ashlar and features a single span with a central cambered arch. The arch is adorned with voussoirs and a projecting keystone, flanked by projecting retaining walls, which are also made of rusticated ashlar. Above the arch, there is a roll moulding that separates the main body of the bridge from the parapet. The central recessed section includes a row of brackets that support the parapet, which has a cambered top made of ashlar.
