Former school. Circa 1870, probably by G.E. Street. Red brick with stripes and diapers of blue brick, and stone plinth moulding, sill course and windows. Buttresses, chimneys and bell-tower have sloping off-set stone sides. Tiled roof with ornamental bands of fishscale tiles and cusped bargeboards. L-plan with lobby and bell-tower in angle. One storey, 2 bays to road. Left bay is gabled and projecting with flanking buttresses and 3-light plate tracery window with incised floral decoration. Cusped roundel above at apex of gable, both windows with flanking stone impost bands and gauged brick surrounds. Gables of rear cross wing have similar treatment but each with a pair of 2-light windows. Right bay has chimney and lean-to lobby with quatrefoil window to left and bell-tower over arched door to right. Bell-tower has lancet window, stone broach to octagonal wooden bell-cote, and tall slated spirelet with cast iron finial.
