Description

This is a pair of houses located on the west side of Soulbury High Road. The original part dates from the mid-18th century, with a later addition made in the 19th century. The left-hand section is built of chequer brick with a bank course and originally had a thatched roof. The right-hand section is of red brick with a tiled roof, which extends over a lower pitch to match the earlier section. A moulded plinth runs along part of the building. Brick chimneys are present to the left and centre.

The houses are arranged over one storey and an attic. The windows are irregular; a four-light leaded casement with a segmental head is found in the left bay, a single barred wooden casement in the second bay, and 20th-century leaded casements to the right, set within gabled eaves-line dormers. A blocked doorway lies between the right-hand bays, now filled with a 20th-century paired leaded casement. Two 20th-century doors are located in the centre, the left one within a gabled timber porch. 20th-century extensions have been added to the rear.
