Description
Nos. 35 and 37 on The Green are a house dating from the 17th to early 18th century, with some alterations. The building features a timber frame with colourwashed brick infill, and part of it has been rebuilt in colourwashed brick. It has an old tile roof that is hipped to the left, with brick chimneys located between the left bays and to the right. The house is one storey and attic high, comprising three bays. The windows are barred wooden casements, with two-light windows on the ground floor to the right and in the gabled eaves-line dormers, and three-light windows on the ground floor to the left, with the left window having a segmental head. The doors to the left and between the right bays also feature segmental heads. There is a single-storey extension to the right made of brick, partly colourwashed, with a slate roof and a board door that has a fanlight.
